Breefli only collects and uses information needed to operate the product, improve the beta experience, and send emails requested by users.

This Privacy Policy describes how Breefli handles personal data when you use our website, applications, and services.

1. Account and Authentication Data

Breefli uses Clerk to manage user authentication. When you create or access an account, Breefli receives your Clerk user ID and basic account information required to sign you in and associate your data with your account.

2. Analytics

Breefli uses PostHog to understand how users interact with the product during the beta. This may include events related to signup, onboarding, adding sources, viewing feeds, generating briefings, and product errors.

This information is used to identify beta drop-offs, fix bugs, and improve the product experience. Breefli does not sell personal data.

3. Sources and Content

Sources you add to Breefli are stored so the product can generate your feed, briefings, and digest emails. Your source selections may also be used to rank, personalize, and prepare future briefings for your account.

4. Emails and Unsubscribe

Breefli may send account-related emails through Clerk and daily digest emails through Resend.

If you receive a digest email, it will include an unsubscribe link. Using that link will disable digest delivery for your account.

5. Contact and Requests

For questions, deletion requests, or beta-related issues, please use the in-app feedback option. You may also contact the person who invited you to the beta.
